Onboarding a new League Administrator

If the decision has been made to onboard a new league administrator, the steps below are a rough guideline as to what and where.

  1. Invite to ozfortress Internal & ozfortress Team Captain Discord.
  2. Give them the League Staff role and applicable gamemode role for ozfortress Internal.
  3. Inform them that they aren't required to report poor behaviour they see, but if it's targeting another ozfortress player then we expect them to. They should encourage any user that asks to make a report via the official avenues rather than handling any Behaviour or Anti-Cheat cases or evidence themselves. Staff shouldn't handle Anti-Cheat in any way unless Anti-Cheat ask them to.
  4. Setup their permissions on ozfortress.com:
    • Admin > Permissions > Grant User, Teams, Games, Leagues, Manage Rosters Leagues & Manage Forums perms, don't grant Manage Permissions.
  5. Once they are publicly announced, give them the gamemode role and Staff role within the public ozfortress Discord.
  6. Share the base directory of the ozfortress Google Drive with them so they have access to all the league files they may need.
  7. Get them to setup a Trello account and either invite them via an email through Trello, or use the Trello invite link.
  8. Just reiterate that its best to assume anything they see within the staff discords shouldn't be shared, however we don't mind them getting feedback and thoughts from friends, just they need to be sure to never share anything sensitive, and best not to share anything if they have any doubt about who they were considering asking for feedback.
